Hemorrhoids

Hemoroizii are dilations of the anorectal veins, which can cause discomfort, pain, and minor bleeding. They are common in adults, especially with chronic constipation, pregnancy, or prolonged standing.
How does it manifest itself?
Symptoms include a feeling of pressure, pain during bowel movements, bright red bleeding, and local itching. In external forms, hemorrhoidal nodules may be visible and palpable, causing significant discomfort.
Causes and Mechanism
Increased pressure in the rectal veins, constipation, prolonged standing, or pregnancy promotes vessel dilation. Chronic inflammation leads to increased sensitivity in the area and can promote secondary irritation.
Therapeutic solutions
Compounded preparations can soothe inflammation and discomfort:
- creams or ointments with gentle anti-inflammatory agents (hidrocortizon, pantenol)
- emollients and protective bases which reduce friction and protect the skin
- topical venotonic agents to relieve the feeling of pressure
- vasodilatatoare aplicate local (nifedipina, diltiazem)
