Milia / Keratin Pearls

Milia are small, white, superficial cysts made of keratin, common in infants but also seen in adults. The condition is benign and usually self-limiting.
How does it manifest itself?
The appearance of small white or yellow papules on the face, especially on the cheeks, nose, or forehead. The surrounding skin is normal, without significant inflammation.
Causes and Mechanism
Milia occurs when follicular ducts or sebaceous glands become blocked with keratin. In infants, this may be related to incomplete skin maturation, while in adults it may be linked to minor trauma or certain cosmetic products.
Therapeutic solutions
Although in most cases no intervention is necessary, masterful preparations can protect and maintain healthy skin:
